Shushu/Tong TOPS NEW TRANSLATION 2

Founded in 2014, independent Shanghai-based womenswear label Shushu/Tong is the joint design project of London College of Fashion MA graduates Liushu Lei and Yutong Jiang. With garments that are at once delicate and rebellious, the duo designs for the "modern sophisticated woman with a girly heart." Pops of candy color saturate crisp poplin blouses and shirts, with playful ruffles adorning structural culottes and diaphanous tulle dresses. Cheeky bows and floral textiles are grounded by avant-garde asymmetric tailoring, while zipper hardware and denim toughen up soft rib knit pullovers and feminine jumpsuits.
