Brock Collection’s womenswear shows an equal affinity for romanticism and irreverent juxtapositions. The Los Angeles house’s luxurious high-low pieces are elegant without being too precious to live in. Founders Laura Vassar and Kristopher Brock met while studying at New York City’s Parsons School of Design; Brock honed his tailoring expertise at Calvin Klein and Diane von Furstenberg runway shows, while Vassar worked under Olivier Theyskens at Theory. The duo's collaboration—Brock Collection—was launched in 2014. By 2016, the ready-to-wear label secured a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award for collections that seamlessly combine couture-style tailoring with voluminous silhouettes. From intricately ruffled, empire waist dresses to sleeveless blouses with self-tie shoulder straps to classic straight-leg jeans, Brock Collection continues to shape a strong, yet refined, feminine vision.
