London-based paria/FARZANEH is the eponymous label established by English-Iranian designer Paria Farzaneh. Exploring and experimenting with traditions, the label mixes Iran’s aesthetic heritage with contemporary Western references. Iranian workwear and fabrics are reinvented with sharp silhouettes and tailoring, culminating in a vibrant take on utilitarian apparel. paria/FARZANEH sources its signature patterned textiles directly from Iran, with its florals and paisleys are created by hand with Ghalamkar printing, an ancient Persian technique using hand-carved wooden stamps.
