Sisters Inés and Patricia Gutiérrez design pieces for RUS that challenge norms of the ephemeral fashion cycle. Instead RUS proposes timeless womenswear staples in the forms of ribbed, crewneck dresses and oversized polo sweaters in flattering neutrals and fresh, pastel hues. The Gutiérrez sisters believe that the material and existential dimensions of dressing reflect rituals entrenched in personal and cultural histories, and they design for a modern, nonconformist muse. From working with sustainable materials to sourcing high-quality yarns from Italian spinners to fabricating knitwear in a family-run factory in Portugal, RUS focuses on garment quality and longevity. The resulting relaxed silhouettes encourage experimental layering and effortless rediscovery for seasons to come.
