Drawing inspiration from her vibrant Israeli upbringing, Maayan Sherris crafts bold and colorful swimwear that encourages freedom of movement and style. After experimenting with functional swimwear as a student at Parsons, Sherris launched her eponymous label in 2016 with the desire to design swimsuits that moved with the body. Playful patchwork patterns and ruffled edges complement hand-printed halter-necks, tank tops, and seamless tight shorts designed to support all shapes and sizes. The collection’s performance capabilities are tested in collaboration with activewear experts, including the Indian Olympic swim team. Striking a balance between fashion and function, Sherris offers well-crafted beachwear created to be inclusive and whimsical.
