In 2016, Alix Ross and Elijah Funk launched Online Ceramics, a Los Angeles studio offering pottery, books, and ready-to-wear. Ross and Funk met at art school, where they discovered a mutual love for the art and experimental music that would eventually inform their colorfully referential streetwear brand. Tie-dye T-shirts, fleece sweatshirts, and hoodies reflect the casual playfulness of 60s psychedelia, while punk-inspired graphics project a darker and more ominous cool across the brand’s wide range of womenswear and accessories. Presenting a unique visual language rooted in countercultural defiance, Online Ceramics approaches its collections with a contemporary sensibility that bridges the gap between music, art, and fashion.
